Hailing from Paris, international makeup artist, Guy Trinquet worked in the beauty and fashion industries in France and England before relocating to Australia.
His experience includes haute couture fashion shows in Paris for Chanel, Christian Dior, Jean-Louis Scherrer and Paco Rabanne. He has consulted to international cosmetics houses such as Laura Mercier, Black Up, Stephane Marais, Nars and created looks for actors and models for television shows and photography shoots.
A creative and versatile makeup artist, Guy’s skills are complemented by his calm demeanor that brings out the best in the people he works with. He doesn’t believe in “standard looks”, rather he creates customised looks depending on the image his clients want to project, their personality, unique features and the occasion.
Guy’s philosophy in makeup is to create “looks that you can feel comfortable and confident in” . He believes in using makeup to enhance rather than conceal the uniqueness of an individual.
